Eric Roberts -Piano, Voice, Music Theory

My experience in music goes back to the age of four where my family and I went to marching band competitions which led to my life long love of music. From there I began singing in elementary school and sang the solo at graduation. I continued my passion throughout both middle and high school by being very active in both the band and choir. Music gave me freedom, and led me to pursuing a degree where I can give to others.

I received my Bachelors in Arts in Music at Winthrop. Throughout college I conducted and lead rehearsals for multiple Collegiate choirs. I have been in four operas throughout my college career which featured Dialogue of the Carmelites, Die Fledermaus, Little Women, and Gianni Schicchi. I’ve completed a voice recital and performed many juries for both voice and piano.

I have a passion music and sharing the knowledge I have learned, and I hope to help create those musical passions that I grew up with.  The instructors that I have worked with have taught me that when one person is being taught, both parties grow, and I am looking forward to being able to continue that legacy of learning.
