Background

I first started to have an interest in art during my youth. Since I have an armenian

heritage, as a young teen, I found myself always doodling around and drawing exotic

sets of eyes with eyebrow arches and eyelashes (eyes were considered an exotic form

of drawing in the armenian culture). During highschool and college I started to take

professional art classes and fell in love. When painting, I feel very relaxed and as if I am

creating memories though artwork by painting realistic objects and landscapes into

paper or canvas. During college, I built a relationship with my mentor / art instructor and

later on we teamed up to do exhibits together with painter Darren Young. My work has a

mix of realism and painterly art. I enjoy painting landscapes and realistic objects but

with more of a loose brushstroke for an impressionist feel. My main theme is painting

nature.
