1. Trial Lesson
How does the trial lesson work?
Your $25 trial gives you three lessons in one! You'll receive a private lesson on the instrument you're interested in, plus a free dance lesson and a free art lesson. It's the perfect way to explore multiple passions and find what truly inspires you—all at no additional cost.
What happens during the trial lesson?
During the trial, your instructor will spend time getting to know you and your musical interests. Together, you’ll explore the instrument, learn a few foundational techniques, and even play something simple by the end of the session. It’s a relaxed, no-pressure introduction to music lessons designed to be both fun and informative.
Do I need to bring anything to the trial lesson?
Just bring your curiosity and excitement to learn! If you already have an instrument, feel free to bring it along. If not, don’t worry—we provide everything you need for the trial lesson right here in our studio.
What if we don’t like the trial—is there any obligation?
None at all. The trial lesson is meant to be a risk-free way for you to explore music lessons. If it doesn’t feel like the right fit, simply let us know, and there’s no further commitment. We’re also happy to arrange a trial with a different teacher or instrument if you’d like to try another option.
Can I try multiple instruments before deciding?
Absolutely. Many students, especially younger ones, aren’t sure which instrument they’d like to learn. We encourage exploration! Just let us know which instruments you’re interested in, and we’ll schedule trial lessons for each one so you can find the perfect match.
2. Lessons & Scheduling
How long are the lessons?
We offer lessons in 30, 45, and 60-minute sessions to fit a variety of ages, attention spans, and goals. Our most popular option is the 45-minute lesson—it provides focused, one-on-one instruction that keeps students engaged while allowing time for meaningful progress. Longer sessions are ideal for students who want to dive deeper into technique, theory, or repertoire.
How do I reschedule a lesson?
We know life can be unpredictable. If you need to reschedule, simply give us a call, send a text, or email us with advance notice. We’ll work with you to find a new time that fits your schedule—no hassle, no stress.
What’s your cancellation policy?
We ask for advance notice when canceling or rescheduling a lesson. When we receive proper notice, there’s no charge—we’ll simply help you find a new time. We understand that emergencies happen, and we handle those on a case-by-case basis with flexibility and understanding.
3. Student Experience
What ages do you teach?
We welcome students of all ages—from young beginners to adults discovering music for the first time or returning after a break. Children as young as 4 can begin piano and voice lessons, and we typically start all other instruments around age 5. It’s never too early or too late to start making music!
What programs do you offer?
In addition to private lessons on a wide range of instruments—including piano, voice, guitar, bass, ukulele, drums, violin, viola, cello, saxophone, clarinet, flute, and other wind and brass instruments—we also offer dance and art classes. Plus, we have our exclusive, patented "School of Little Talents" program for children ages 4 to 6, which combines four enriching activities in one. No matter what your child is passionate about, we have a program to inspire them.
Are there performance opportunities?
Yes! We hold regular recitals throughout the year where students can share what they’ve learned with family and friends in a supportive, encouraging environment. Recitals are optional, but we highly recommend them—they build confidence, celebrate progress, and give students a rewarding goal to work toward.
Can I switch teachers if needed?
Absolutely. We carefully match each student with an instructor based on personality, teaching style, and musical goals, but we also know that finding the right fit is important. If you ever feel a different teacher would better suit your needs, we’re happy to help make the switch.
4. Getting Started
Do I need to own an instrument to start?
Not right away! While we don’t offer instrument rentals, our studio is fully equipped with instruments that students can use during lessons. This allows you to begin learning right away. When you’re ready to practice at home, our specialists are happy to guide you in choosing the right instrument for your needs.
Do you offer in-home lessons?
We currently offer lessons exclusively at our school. Our classrooms are designed specifically for music education—each space features excellent acoustics, high-quality instruments, and a focused learning environment led by experienced teachers. This setup ensures the best possible experience for every student.
Is there a waiting area for parents?
For the health, safety, and privacy of our students and families, we kindly ask that parents do not wait in the lobby. However, you are always welcome to sit in the lesson room and observe your child’s class. We believe in transparency and want you to feel connected to your child’s learning experience.
What’s your weather and emergency closure policy?
Your family’s safety is our top priority. In the event of severe weather or an emergency, we will notify you as quickly as possible by text, email, or phone. Any lessons missed due to closures can be rescheduled at no additional cost.
Do you offer group lessons or just private?
We offer both, depending on the subject. For voice and instruments, we focus exclusively on private lessons—this allows our teachers to give their full attention to each student, leading to faster progress and a more personalized experience. For dance and art, we offer group lessons, where students benefit from collaboration, creativity, and the energy of learning together.
Can I observe my child’s lesson?
Yes, parents are always welcome to observe. Many families find it helpful to sit in during the first few lessons to see how things work. As students grow more comfortable, some prefer independent lesson time, but you’re always welcome to check in or observe whenever you’d like.
How do I know if my child is making progress?
Progress in music is exciting to watch! Each week, your child will learn new songs, build new skills, and gain confidence. Our teachers provide regular updates on milestones and achievements, and recitals offer a wonderful opportunity to see how far they’ve come. You’ll hear and see the growth yourself—lesson by lesson.
5. Pricing & Billing
Is there a registration fee?
No registration fees, ever. We believe in keeping things simple and transparent. You only pay for your trial lesson and ongoing lessons—there are no hidden costs or upfront fees to get started.
When do you bill for monthly lessons?
We offer flexible payment options to fit your family’s needs. You can choose a monthly plan with a set billing schedule, or purchase a package of lessons that is not tied to specific dates or months. This flexibility allows you to choose what works best for your schedule and budget.
What if there are 5 weeks in a month?
If you choose our package option, you’ll save $30 and enjoy the freedom of not being tied to a calendar. Your package includes a set number of lessons, so whether the month has 4 weeks or 5, your billing stays consistent and predictable.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept card payments for your convenience. Once you've chosen your program—whether monthly or as a package—we'll send you an invoice. After your payment is processed, we'll be sure to send you a receipt so you have everything on record. This way, you'll never miss a payment, and you can stay focused on what matters most—making music and enjoying the arts.
Is there a long-term contract?
If you choose our monthly plan and ever decide to move on, we simply ask for a 30-day notice. This helps us ensure a smooth transition for both the student and the teacher, allowing us to wrap things up thoughtfully without any sudden interruptions.
If you prefer even more flexibility, our lesson package option is a great fit—you can continue until your package is complete, with no further commitment. Either way, we're here to support your musical journey for as long as it feels right for your family.
6. For Families & Multi-Program Students
What if I have more than one child? Can they all take lessons at the same time?
Absolutely! We know how busy family life can be, which is why we've designed our programs with parents in mind. In addition to music, we also offer dance and art classes—plus our exclusive, patented "School of Little Talents" program for children ages 4–6, which combines four enriching activities in one. This means you can bring multiple children to the same location and have each one enrolled in a program that fits their age and interests. No more driving across town to different studios—everything your family needs is right here under one roof.
Do you offer anything for adults?
Yes! We believe creativity is for everyone, regardless of age. While your child is enjoying their music lesson, you're welcome to take a class for yourself—whether that's dance, art, or even an instrument. It's a wonderful way to invest in your own passions while making the most of your time.
Are there discounts for enrolling in multiple programs?
We offer great savings when you purchase a package that includes multiple programs. Whether your family is combining music, dance, art, or our School of Little Talents, bundling allows you and your children to explore the arts together without stretching your budget. It's our way of making creative education more accessible for the whole family.
