While Dre is proficient in fine art, music and digital design, his first love as a young child was art. He specializes in painting animals, portraits and landscapes on canvas or wood using acrylic/oil paint, as well as spray painting murals on a variety of wall textures. Mr. Morris’ goal is to use his creative passion and experience to teach and inspire. Dre has experience painting live and teaching groups/individuals about art at charities for kids, money drives for those with disabilities such as the Austin Sign Language School, music festivals/shows and community based events. He’s also found success as a professional muralist for several commercial and residential spaces in Florida, Georgia and Texas.

Inspired by the Incomparable Marching 100 of Florida A&M University at the age of 10, he found his passion for music and picked up the trombone in 2001 and later joined the historical band known for performing with iconic performers such Kendrick Lamar at the Louis Vuitton’s men’s spring-summer 2023 fashion show, Prince at the Super Bowl XLI halftime show in 2007, along with many more in other parts of nation and world. The Marching 100 is also the only HBCU band to perform for President Barack Obama’s 2009 Inauguration, for which Mr. Morris participated. Dre became a trombone player and member of the world renown band in 2008 and graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Graphic Communications in 2012.

He since then has accompanied and performed live jazz, funk, reggae, latin and rock music on the trombone and keyboard at several venues such as the Elephant Room and Empire Garage & Control Room to name a few in Austin, TX. In 2022, he began his journey sharing his knowledge and love for music as a private music instructor at the Lone Star School of Music and looks to continue that journey in Charlotte.

Mr. Morris also has 14 years experience servicing digital design for an array of organizations and high profile companies. From working with startups, developing their brand to become a commercial business success to established Fortune 200 companies, Dre is committed to providing high end art and proficient design knowledge backed by experience along with a Master of Fine Arts degree in Media Design. Since 2012, Dre has worked in industries ranging from real-estate at CBRE as a solo designer, to journalism in several design studios working with dozens of other designers and editors for the USA Today Network. Whether on canvas, wood or digital drawing tablet, Dre intends on sharing real world experience and examples on how to turn a promising creative thinker into a creative professional, demonstrating ways to utilize conceptual illustrations for graphic design, motion graphics, animations, 3D renderings and videos intended for commercial use to elevate a message with a righteous cause, inspiring the ideal person or group to a call of action.
