Caroline Beverly
Caroline Beverly has a Bachelor of Arts in Dance Performance and Choreography and a minor in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina. She is also a certified Yoga instructor and has been dancing professionally since the age of fourteen. In high school Caroline had the opportunity of dancing with the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra annually and has danced with the Windsor Symphony Orchestra in Windsor Canada, Cincinnati Ballet, and has been featured as a dancer in, Cincinnati Pops’ world premiere of Macy’s “Yes, Virginia”. Her teaching career also started in high school as she co-choreographed three musicals for Symmes Elementary School and ran an after-school dance program for low income communities. At University Caroline trained under the direction of Thaddeus Davis, Tanya Wideman-Davis, Stacey Calvert, Shannon Ludlum, Jennifer Deckert, and André Megerdichian. She also spent a semester in Sitges, Barcelona, Spain where she attended the Institute of Arts – Barcelona and received a certificate of dance with distinction after studying the collective world of commercial dance. While in University Caroline’s love of choreography and teaching grew as she taught at an array of studios in the Columbia, SC area as a primary, guest, or substitute instructor.
